Jeff Bezos made history on Tuesday after the

 Amazon founder made a very brief trip to space 

on board his Blue Origin spaceship. 

 

Bezos, along with three others, spent around 

11 minutes in the New Shepard rocket which 

reached the edge of space before returning to 

earth

It’s just another chapter in the space race

 between billionaires who have been criticised for

 seeming more focused on sending into space than

 using their money to  fix problems here on Earth.
